Flyaway Witch

While these witches are relatively cheap bought new, if you have some pantyhose or tights that have snagged, this is a great way to reuse. I used Styrofoam for the head, but any light round object can be used. You’ll have a spooky little coven in no time.

• 2 pairs of black tights
• Styrofoam ball (size of your choice, but I used 6″)
• witches hat (bought a 4 pack on Amazon)
• S hook, safety pin
• glue gun, scissors, rubber band
• felt (optional)

Insert the Styrofoam ball into the top of the tights until it hits the crotch. Tie the waist closed with the rubber band. Tie the legs one time, like the first step of tying your shoes. With the other pair, pull one leg through opening, and again tie. You should have 4 legs flowing down from the ball.

Trim the toe caps off the bottoms, and then cut the lengthwise up the hose. Glue the witch’s hat onto the top of the witch’s head. I gave mine a little purple hat band. Use a safety pin through the tip of the hat to hang. Enjoy!
