Witches Hat Dupe

This witches hat centerpiece is delightful if you are more into a rustic cute Halloween than the pastel decor that has come out this year. Grandin Road retails this for $80, while I was able to get this together for about $20, with a coupon. Given how easy it is to put together, it’s really a shame to pay that much for it. Michaels has the witches hat wreath you’ll need, I haven’t been able to find anything else like it online.

Supplies

  • witches hat wreath
  • Halloween ribbon (black gingham if you want to match the original)
  • fall floral pick with leaves, or loose fall leaves
  • small plastic pumpkins
  • glue gun, glue sticks, scissors

Wrap your ribbon around the brim of the hat completely. Cut and glue the ribbon in place. Make a 4 loop bow*, leaving the tails long enough to hang off the brim. Glue to the brim, covering the area where the ribbon ends meet. Place one plastic pumpkin in the middle of the bow, gluing in place. Glue the leaves artistically around the bow. Glue one more pumpkin off to the side on the brim. Remove any glue strings, and your done!

* themadeupokie has a Youtube short for a 9 loop bow that I watched to help with this part. Great quick visual tutorial by her.
