The red-headed stepchild of American holidays is upon us. Sandwiched between Halloween and Christmas, it can feel like this holiday is rushed or an afterthought, especially in the decor department. I wanted to do some dupes for this holiday, but found the items pushed for Thanksgiving of course are centered more on the meal-new dinnerware, dining tables, and linens, things that no average person can make in their home. Furthermore, in a lot of stores and homes where I’m at, it’s already Christmas! It was Christmas before Halloween! In short, November can feel like a very weird month. I hope though, as we all hopefully sit down to a good meal, that we can truly give thanks, take a breath, and enjoy some calm before the whirlwind of activities that make up the end of the year. Happy Thanksgiving!
